Jack informs Mr. Furley that he will be moving into a one-bedroom apartment with a woman, indicating to Mr. Furley that he is no longer supposedly gay. Terri announces she will be moving to Hawaii to continue her career as a nurse, caring for sick natives. Janet, of course, goes home to her new husband. As they leave, the trio says goodbye to each other–and to the apartment . Later, Jack and Vicky are settling into their new apartment, which is upstairs above Jack’s Bistro.

But as I’m fond of saying, falling in love is easy; it requires a pulse. Everyone can get at least something from it I’m sure. And the whole thedatingpros.com/chnlove-review «becoming the right person» is good advice, I’m just not sure the motivation for becoming a better person ought to be to find a spouse.
The book has Christian overtones, but the information can be applied in anyone’s life regardless of religious beliefs and age. It was a really refreshing, well-needed perspective to hear. Stanley has a neat way with word that I found super engaging, fresh, and graspable.
Andy Stanley definitely has the goods in regards to being able to relate to people, in a way that leaves one feeling hopeful, instead of ashamed and condemned. This book was highly recommend to me from a friend, and I highly recommend this to anyone who is not married. Andy Stanley managed to put into black and white what parents have been struggling to say for decades, and he does it with such a great sense of humor. I laughed out loud several times while reading because of Stanley’s sarcastic humor. I seriously can not recommend this book enough. When we tell kids «No.» with no reasoning, there is no way they’re going to follow through with our creed.

The situation only worsens when the trio accidentally sells his furniture, thinking it was the Ropers’ old furniture. Mr. Furley then gives the trio 24 hours to get out, until he meets Lana, who convinces him to let Jack and the girls stay. 0402Jack wants to raise money to buy a gift for Janet and Chrissy; so he takes Larry’s place as a male escort and winds up with Lana Shields, an overly amorous older woman who falls hard for Jack. 0318When Janet is terrified by a mouse in their bedroom, Jack takes advantage of the situation by offering to move in with Chrissy until the rodent is captured. 0224Jack and Chrissy take turns sucking up to Janet, who acquired a pair of tickets to a Frank Sinatra concert which she is not going to attend.

Andy Stanley writes so well that I always find it hard to put down any of his books. In The New Rules for Love, Sex, and Dating, Andy exceeds my expectations with his message about what you require to have a positive experience dating, getting married and enjoying sex within the boundaries of a happy marriage. I’d highly recommend youth ministers use this with their older high school students or parents, mentors, etc recommend it to their college and adult-age children. The book can be read in a couple of days or you can listen to the audiobook. It feels like the book is focused more on men and their attitudes and behaviors.
