He’s not out to waste time; he wants to know within a few dates whether you have potential or not. An older man is past the early-20s “what am I doing with my life” phase. There’s a good chance he’s midway in his career, and therefore at least somewhat financially stable. You’ve dated your share of men your age…and even younger. Clearly, you haven’t found what you’re looking for yet, so why not go with someone older and more wiser?

Watch out especially for what I call Peter Pan types. They’ll woo you and then forget to pick you up for a date. They might text like crazy…and then stop texting for SeniorSizzle days. They have no consideration for your feelings, and are totally self-absorbed. On the other hand, your need to control might be something that attracts him.
An older woman is seen as sexy and experienced. Younger men may love that you could teach them a thing or two in bed, and that you appreciate everything they do for you, from please you between the sheets to make you feel beautiful and adored. If you’re dating a Millennial, chances are he’d prefer to text you than to call you. While texting can be incredibly helpful in letting you stay connected to friends, you may find yourself adrift using it as a communication tool in dating. Again, have the conversation early on about what each of you are looking for. Many men will put what they want in their dating profiles (“hookups only,” “LTR,” or “looking for a woman to spoil”) so don’t ignore what’s right in front of you.
If you think it’s ok, well, I have no grounds to say otherwise. Automatically assuming that a relationship is harmful because of an age-difference is silly. Age gaps get less important as you get older. For example, an 18 year old dating a 13 year old would be considered almost unanimously creepy. However, a 35 year old dating a 30 year old?

Life May Be Less Exciting
Many other states have similar criminal laws. Some states may only require the partners to be within 5 years of each other. Others may have minimum ages that require both partners to be at least 16. However, many states have a close-in-age exception.
And we are talking about breaking our relationship when I’m 18! So that we don’t have problems in the future about age difference and me being an adult. I’m 16 girl and have a crush who is 18, but my parents said no dating till I’m 18. It makes me really sad but I kinda get it. If you have the same problem maybe just kinda chill for a bit. No hate, but sometimes we need to be more mature and it’s nothing to be ashamed of.
